Doctor Who
Feb. 28th, 2020 06:27 pmI am feeling quite a bit better today so I watched Doctor Who from last weekend.
... I can see how that was made of exciting parts but I am just not feeling it lately.
I can't connect to this season and don't spend time thinking about it between episodes.
Much as I love the idea of this Doctor and the performance when she's got something to work with
I think I'm just not a fan of this era.
Which could as easily be a me thing as a show thing. I'm rereading books and not liking them, rewatching other shows and mostly seeing flaws or feeling like it'll get to the good bits I remember if I just stick with it...
and I might have stopped reading fanfic in general? My Marked to Read list has 80 pages, 50 of them from the last year. That's a substantial accumulation of stuff that ticks my boxes but I just never get around to.
So. Not feeling Doctor Who. Or indeed much else.
Might not be Doctor Who's fault then.
