beccaelizabethTru Calling today had, like, layers and themes and stuff I figure I could get more from if I thought about it. Cool.
also, I seem to be emotionally invested in the characters. Tru kisses Luc and I yell at the screen 'wrong guy!'
well there's the sweetie who knows her
and the pretty who doesn't knows her
which relationship is really closer?
and, okay, I don't actually fancy the beardy morgue dude, but.
and then that was the thing with the not-actually-dead lesbians and the 'boyfriend', in-love-with vs love, girlfriends and best friend.
see? theme!
so, cool.
I'm trying to figure out if killing then unkilling the lesbian and the lifesaving thing turning out to be that it wasn't a guy she was shagging fits the bad pattern (lesbian who at first gets killed) or undoes it.
At the very least, I didn't forsee the twist, so improvement.
at this rate I'll stop waiting a week for a new ep and buy the DVD set. huh.
