beccaelizabethI am awake right now waiting for a supermarket delivery. Also it is Fire Alarm Test day on Mondays now. So I had like four hours sleep and look forwards to getting back to that.
I tried playing No Man's Sky and I still have no idea what the buttons do and
it makes me motion sick.
... also character froze to death once already. it said look for yellow plants, there are no yellow plants, freezing happens. this does not seem fun yet.
I listened to a bunch of music. Covenant. Several albums, on youtube.
I like the ones I already liked best, but, of course I would, I been listening the same music for half my life. Have expanded that by whole albums.
I tried listening on the youtube on the tv or xbox but they're up to two ads every three to seven minutes on there, which is unuseable, and kind of likely to make me deliberately not buy anything I see on there.
There must be better ways to music than the youtubes
but I am slow to change and have a button that nearly works, so.
I have so much I could do and it feels like nothing to do because it's not The Thing
whatever that would be
The Thing that would be what I actually need right now.
Probably that would involve People.
Norwich board gamers just announced a restart tentatively scheduled for end of September but
*gestures vaguely at everything*
I just dont see how current daily case rates leads to 'lets all go sit in a pub twice a week'.
even if I had transport, which I dont.
Things opening and restarting means there are choices and options again, but also a very large possibility of making Wrong choices.
... sitting in my flat forever does not appeal in the abstract but does tend to be the day to day choice.
... I just went to read up on other people's opinions and one medical person (infectious diseases professor at a university) was like, if you dont want to go to the pub, 'good on you. go get vaccinated and hide under a bush.'
... fair.
It is going to be awkward starting again, whenever that happens. Like, start 3d social life from zero, start again. *sigh*
Reckon I'll just wait for the foods, go back to sleep, have same week this week as last week.
