It's hard enough keeping all the characters vaguely in the conversation
now I just realised I have set up a fight scene with ten people in it
before the bad guys even arrive.

I worked around this one by having the point of view character be injured and miss a bit of the fight, then have their view blocked by a wall. Which hopefully will read better than the summary sounds.

Next ones though...

I'm using an actual module so I have the map, and I have plenty of the little card figures...
