Library math mismatch

beccaelizabethToday I spent a bunch of words and a bunch of math just to prove to myself once again that the Stronghold Builder's Guide from 3e and the Pathfinder 1e Ultimate Campaign downtime building rules are in no way compatible.
Boo.
The library at Chanters House and the library in the module Academy of Secrets are within a couple squares of the same size, which made me wonder once again how to get all the books out of the Academy.
It would take max 16 castings of Treasure Stitching (10 foot cube but you could drape the cloth along the shelves for easy math), but I'm sure stacking things tighter could cut down on that a lot. The math is awkward for portable holes, maybe something like 30 (10ft deep and 6ft diameter) to fit the whole volume of the room in. No party is going to have that many, but you don't need to slide the whole room into a hole or flat pack the shelves by length, you just need to stack the shelves tight together, or even just the books. With no stated height or depth there's no math but guessing for that one though. Plus bags of holding and teleport spells care about weight, and that we can't guesstimate from the shelves without a ton of math, and reference to the dimensions of spell books etc. Which I've done before but *shrugs*.
The other problem is justifying people being packed to loot. They're in a competition at a school, looting the school is disqualification and a wizard school full of enemies, you'd think they'd be less ready.
... but they're adventurers.
This isn't particularly helpful as ways to pass the day go but I hadn't thought of a better one and now it's lunch time.
I am feeling well today though, a level of well much higher than the last two days, so that's the booster all sorted right then.
