I dont have any particularly new thoughts about Torchwood tv episodes today, but, with everyone mentioning out loud how young everyone is, I had to notice again that the people in my head keep aging even when I think I've accounted for that thing where the people in my head keep aging.
Ianto is really *very* young there.
And Jack is extraordinarily hot (compared to his villain era).
And then there is kissing, which remains awesome.
I do slow to a crawl on rewatch though, because I know how it ends.
In other news, I kind of feel like apologising for not being very interactive lately. But I might not have been worse than usual. Which doesnt feel good.
So many unanswered comments in my life.
I'm feeling very sisyphus hill rock about, like, the basics, lately.
And I know why I'm stuck on my time travel shows and revisiting characters from shows that finished a full twenty years ago.
But at some point I'm really going to have to catch up with the here now, on account of that is where all the actual people live, and that remains challenging as ever.
... on balance, audio has many excellences, even if the mental images one provides do go a bit astray from original temporality...
