beccaelizabethI have not been having much luck with choosing things to read.
You know the character bashing fics where the author decides character did everything wrong ever and just has everyone yell at them for it?
I just read a fic that was like that but from the point of view of the bashed character, and then had her get super mad at everyone right back at them, and then be completely vindicated by being made part celestial, and then yell at everyone some more, and then go leave to a different tv show.
And like, talk about inventing a guy to get mad at, the whole fic basically invented a show to get mad at.
So why did I finish reading it? I have no answer to that one either, I just live here.
But I do not feel the reading experience enriched my life.
There is always more to read though.
... maybe I'll get enough sleep to have another go at the Arkady Martine novel...
