I found that boring. It didnt leave itself anywhere to go. The ending was the only available space since very near the beginning, and I didnt find the journey interesting, because it wasnt doing like cause and effect, just effects. The story happened because that was the story that happened. Arbitrary.
I can buy it as the dream logic of where she's at emotionally, but as an actual set of events, no.
Maybe it'll look different after the rest of the season.

Date: 2024-06-09 07:07 am (UTC)I think the story justified it by the measure being exact in yards and fiddly in meters. And if it sounds old fashioned and weird that kind of works for the story.
