Wrath of the Righteous

beccaelizabethYesterday I played Wrath of the Righteous from quite early to rather late, so my goal for today is to not do that.
I won Drezen and intended to stop there but the next bit is running around and talking to a bunch of people so I just quickly did that and it takes up a bunch of time and I had meant to do some crusade army stuff before Drezen but oops shall just finish it after and... it got quite late.
Also the dragon absolutely stomped us. Just... very bad. But that was when I realised how long it had been since I last saved and just... decided to let Death's Door work. And to go back to Drezen. Where the teleport circles are still being built so we had to walk back all stomped on. That wasn't smart.
Did I immediately go to sleep in the real world? Of course not, I just went to get Woljif like I had intended to anyway.
Woljif is back now and so I have an arcanemagic user who I vaguely know how to use and am willing to bring into battle.
Except I went Azata - with a character I had called Angelica to remind me which path I hadn't done yet and was planning to - but then I decided to romance Aru because I looked up some of the options and they're not as creepy as the first question looks, maybe, possibly... anyway, Aru Azata romance, for now, and possibly aim for Gold Dragon later. But Azata means you get a very small dragon to be your friend. I had forgotten Aivu started so small. And they said something about only having had five years to see Elysium. Aivu is an actual baby and that's the best reason to go Legend and send them home. But you can't leave them behind ever before that. I had not remembered the age thing, maybe I didn't do all the dialogue last time.
Daeran is filling the room with flowers again. Lann made a couple of choices he doesn't make for KC's that are men. I think I dodged the romance paths for Galfrey and Ulbrig though. And I didn't romance Aru before because she seems busy? Like she's figuring out how to be a people, it just seems like bothering her when she's recovering.
What else... I didn't do Chorussina or Blightmaw in Drezen because they needed 20s to hit and I don't know what I should be doing better. I did however deliberately double back after getting the Sword just to trigger a trap and have another fight. Which was dumb and about the time I should have known I should have slept. Needed a lot of healing potions and scrolls after that.
I think I should redo Lann and the Knight Commander to be more useful, Lann's skills are all wrong, but the Law touch thingy is useful for skill checks so far so maybe to keep the Cleric level? Ugh I'd have to redo all the everything even if I just want to move skills around.
Knight Commander is so into being an expert at everything that they are not doing great at combat.
But they have a +40 in Perception already so they're doing pretty okay at that.
Persuasion needs more work and probably some headbands.
The difficulty is still up there at 'dies a lot' and I keep having another go again and again and lower difficulty is more fun and quicker to make actual progress.
But quite a lot of progress was made.
It would be neat if Owlcat did a third story, or untangled whatever happened to Kingmaker and made it actually work. Or both, both is good.
