Jan. 22nd, 2006 05:02 pmI got the script book that includes 'The Dark Age' and I'm up to cage full of corpse comparing it to the transcript and episode vid.
So far my main conclusion is all the dumb bits got cut.
yaays!
its actually making me feel better about ignoring other bits of nearly happened, snips of talk that didn't get in finished eps. there's usually good reasons.
also it reminding me how actors actually have a different reality than viewers do. I mean they get these scripts with all the bits in, and probably have to act all the bits, and only then the scenes get cut. Its real easy to get a different idea of what a character is like, because their version said and did a whole bunch of different things. only way to know for sure what made it to final version would be to watch all the eps, and it would be a while after making them so maybe not get filed mentally with same stuff. and maybe they think the cut bits were cut for time only and should be there. and they'd still have a different version in their head.
Plus actors do many versions same scene, and finished version gets pasted together from bits of all of them.
Is amazing if their idea matches viewers, actually.
