I just finished reading the book 'Tales of the Slayer vol 1'
I've been reading a story at a time since christmas.
I mostly didn't like it.
It is mostly about Slayers dying.
Doesn't that rather undermine the whole 'girl power' thing?
I mean, yes, every girl before Buffy died, and Buffy died a lot too, but the actual *point* of Slayers was the part where they kick ass.
Often the setups are quite clever, using bits of history in interesting ways. Its just the part where they then kill everyone off in interesting ways too that I feel rather undermines the feminist message.
Also, I have a headache. It went away while I was lying down, but as soon as I sit up, bit huge headache.
But it is midnight now and I'll go sleep.
