Farscape some more

been watching Farscape
got two discs out of order :grr:
wasn't reading carefully enough when I woke up :eyeroll:

so, I stopped in the middle of a two parter
and just now watched the one with Talyn and the mist



John & Aeryn *pretty*
*happy sigh*

And I still like the clothes on this show. A lot.



Farscape rather strongly depends on people watching with a lot of attention. I mean, it isn't just that there's a lot of history, its that there are characters that are the same characters but not actually the same just at the moment. There are, what, 4 different of John? The one that got real old, the neural clone, and the twinned two. Remembering what each of them remembers takes rather more concentration than television tends to demand.

Something I didn't say back at the S'cubie Board (bad me, spreading conversations all over the net) is that the costume designer for Farscape admits to getting much of the wardrobe at leather and fetish shops in Sydney harbour; a lot of the aliens are heavy-duty bod-mod people from Australia (the fanatic in "Suns and Lovers" has facial branding in real life, frinstance).
