grumping about writing
Aug. 6th, 2004 12:21 pmAnyone want to co write my huge endless fanfic project of doom?
22 stories in the first season alone! Ripper, therefore ghosts, but also werewolves and demons and many kinds of magic! Andrew and Oz and Ethan and Giles and some original characters and blokes wearing chainmail and wierd guys in red coats! Action and adventure and really wild things!
Of course by 'co-write' I mean 'let me tell you all the plots and then you do all the writing for me'. Or in some cases let me tell you the bunny that looked like a whole plot when I thought of it but on review is, in fact, an opening scene and an interesting situation, that I have no idea how anyone would react to after the initial panic.
*sigh* *sulk*
writing, it turns out, is tricky
not least because every time I do any research I end up having to revise half of what I've already thought of
and especially not least because the part of writing I'm worst at is the sitting down and putting words on paper all in a row. You know, the actual writing part.
