beccaelizabethI hate dreams of many wakings and no movings. This time I kept on waking up, trying to turn the light on, grabbing my sword and trying to check there were no huge great teenage boys in my flat.
This took a whole lot of tries before I was in fact conscious and could try it properly.
Hates that.
No boys here, teenage or otherwise. No girls neither. Nobody taking my stuff.
Door was/is locked.
No people getting in.
Before the waking up part the dream was mostly about high school, the standard wandering around in there trying to find stuff. This time it was orange glowsticks. Which, you know, unusual.
Then I saw Oz - standing in for anyone I actually knew in high school - and had one of those horrible flashes of enlightenment one sometimes has. I told him. "If we'd had kids as soon as it was legal, not only would they be in high school by now, they'd be half way to leaving."
*shudders*
perspective. woah.
I mean babies are cool and I like them quite a lot as long as I can give them back when they start crying (which, yes, I realise means I don't like them so very much of their time, heh)
but babies turn into teenagers. Babies would have turned into teenagers by now!
Woah.
On the plus side this realisation was when I wandered right out of high school. Past Anya, who I said I could say a w word for if she really wanted, probably one involving characters off the TV being real and here. That's a promising sort of a w word. From both her and my point of view - I mean consider how many ways there are to mess that up! But she turned down the offer and stole a car to leave school as well. It was walking back to my flat that turned the thing into a waking up dream.
Life is weird. And linear time is very weird.
