Nail Varnish
Nov. 27th, 2021 11:01 amThe other day I was looking for something and noticed the nail polish drawer smelled, like, excessively of nail polish. And also that I probably hadnt opened it for two years. And do I really need things I havent looked at for two years?
So I went through the drawer and wrote the names down and checked if they're still available, and there are three with the same names but none with the same name and number. So if I get rid of them I cant just get new ones. And the current colours are mostly pants. And they all say stuff about base coat and top coat, and some say you dont need a uv light as if that is a selling point, and how long has it been since I bought nail varnish and what have they done to it??
So I've been thinking and I reckon what happened was I stopped using nail varnish when I started using touchscreens on the regular.
I just think of getting that gloopy stuff on my nice tech and go Nope.
Dont even know if its likely, just pretty sure I'm not going to risk it.
So the bottles that have a date on say 30M, and they are... definitely older than that.
I think I bought some of these in college.
So.
I suspect what I have is a drawer full of pretty chemical gloop, and I should probably get rid of all of it.
Even the glittery stuff.
*big sighs*
ah well.
