Spent the whole morning banging my head against the fight I got stuck on before.
Then I gave up and dropped the difficulty... but I had to drop it all the way down to *casual* before I could avoid TPK, so I no longer feel bad about dropping the difficulty, that fight was gone wrong somehow. But I raised the difficulty back up to Core right after that and the rest of the fights are achievable... with many reloads. I am absolutely nowhere near good enough to win without the reloading though, so it seems daft to keep the difficulty there.
