This morning's dream

There was a plane full of army sponsored vampire hunters, including twins that look like Xander. (Yes I know the actor is twins. I try not to RPF even my dreams.) And at least one of them was an alcoholic, but they had it under control between them, pretty much.

That bit was an interesting setup, kinda sorta, mixing vampirism as metaphor with the actual alcohol drink problem.

Most of the actual action of the dream though was packing, trying to pick up all my bags at once, and going down stairs that go down and down and down some more.

Dreams are weird.

cleaner day happened. cleaner has been and gone. cleaner was not the usual cleaner and the house now smells unusual, including my hands now I washed them with the clean taps. possibly the taps needed more rinsing? but it's fiiiiiine. I'm fine. I'm not going around the house wiping everything again again.

*sigh*

Buffy season 6 and 7

I've had 'write about buffy season 6 and 7' on my to do list for long enough that I have, on the whole, forgotten what I was going to write. So, ticklist:

Hope that was what I wanted to write about ... mostly season 7 as it turns out. Think I forgot a bunch of things by waiting this long, but so it goes.


Meanwhile I'm on the last episode of Angel season 1, and one of the most interesting things about it is how, when Buffy turns up, she swiftly seems entirely irrelevant. Way to establish your show as its own independent thing. And way depressing if that's supposed to be the love of his life: as soon as they're not fighting the exact same good fight the exact same ways, side by side? All they've got left is arguments.

I don't ship it.



I do like to watch it though.
