Pretty cool magic

I dreamed I had magic tattoos applied over a thousand days, and they made me immune to cursed or unholy items. Like, someone got their sword out in utter confidence they could darkside lightsaber me, and I was like, oh hey, was I supposed to notice? I did not notice. That just went whoosh straight through.
So that was badass.
And then forearms and shins could generate shields that could be extended through solid structures, like windows and walls and gazebos, but that cost fatigue. So I could stop bullets either just around me or by making windows bulletproof,,but I could only do it for a few seconds, unless someone donated more energy. They had to be willing though. So the gazebo incident protected everyone in the structure from a stampede, but also knocked out pretty much everyone else, partly because they were bad guys so it seemed easiest once they'd let me in.
My offensive weaponry was a stick. Just a handy stick. As is my long term habit in RPGs that allow it. But whenever the stick broke, I coyld just 'heal' it. Healing spells are mostly for animals, plant spells are their own college, and dead/inanimate matter needs repair spells, but I could do some of those. End of stick gets chomped off, I 'heal' it so it looks like a knobbly branch now, no problem.
As power sets go it was pretty cool.
But the dream somewhat lacked a plot because I was wandering around trying to find out what the bad guys even wanted while they just kept attacking me and bouncing or going straight through or possibly disintegrating their weapons. Probably as frustrating for them as it was for me. But it's difficult to do diplomacy when the other guys just won't stop trying to hit you, however futile it has proven to be.
Dream me was so chill though. Like, nothing was going to get through, so it was less inconvenient than water pistols. Wouldn't even need to dry off. They could just do their thing and I'd be waiting patiently for them to calm down, like they were toddler tantruming.
Would drive bad guys nuts.

Date: 2019-04-27 04:48 pm (UTC)though five seasons probably need more characters
like someone totally not armoured who can sense danger but perhaps not do much about it
